Black & grey realism with fine art influence

Liam Hunter

Liam has spent the past 20 years tattooing across the UK, Europe, and the United States. His artistic journey began in childhood through constant drawing, later evolving into a deep appreciation for oil painting. Influenced by his love of hip hop and visual culture, he moved into graffiti writing before enrolling at Bradford College of Art, where he rediscovered his passion for fine art. This path eventually led to a tattoo apprenticeship—an opportunity that shaped his career. Tattooing has been his life’s work ever since; a profession he is deeply passionate about and fully committed to.

Rooted in his fine art background, Liam’s approach combines an understanding of light, shadow, value, and proportion with the technical aspects of tattooing, including flow and body composition. This allows him to create tattoos designed to heal beautifully and remain striking for years to come. With two decades of experience, alongside a love of fine art and photography, he views every tattoo as a unique piece of artwork. Working collaboratively with each client, Liam strives to create meaningful, timeless tattoos that clients can be proud of for years to follow.
